How It Works

The first step is to call us at 813-309-3357 to schedule an appointment. We’re open Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

From the moment you call or walk through our doors, our all-women team of trained staff and volunteers welcomes you with warmth, love, and acceptance. We provide one-on-one support to understand your unique situation and create a personalized plan tailored to your needs. This plan may include emergency shelter, food assistance, and other essential resources to ensure your immediate safety and well-being, while also guiding you through the next steps of your journey.

As a nonprofit founded by women who’ve endured crisis and trauma ourselves, we know firsthand that healing doesn’t happen overnight. That’s why we never place any time restrictions on how long our support lasts. We’re here with you for a lifetime — or as long as you need us.
